The minster
The spire of Ulm Minster is about 161 metres high. 768 steps lead to the viewing platform, and in good weather you can see the Alps.
The Fishermen's Quarter
The old quarter of fishermen and craftsmen, with half-timbered houses along little canals, is the most picturesque part of the city. Here too is the Crooked House, one of the most tilted buildings in the world, now a hotel.
Einstein's city
Albert Einstein was born in Ulm in 1879. A memorial now marks the spot where his house stood.
The Danube bank
The promenade along the Danube follows the old city walls. It is a nice thought that the same river flows through Novi Sad and Belgrade a few days later.
