The palace
The yellow palace in the centre is now a museum of art and history, with a large park behind it.
The pedestrian zone
In 1967 Oldenburg got one of the first large pedestrian zones in Germany, so the whole centre can be explored without a car.
Kramermarkt
Every autumn the city holds the Kramermarkt, one of the biggest fairs in northern Germany, with rides and stalls.
